What is the PMDMC 2020 Summer Series?
The Public Media Development and Marketing Conference (PMDMC) has long been known as the gathering place for public media leadership and fundraising professionals. It’s where hundreds in our industry come together to learn, grow, be challenged, and find solutions to problems. The events of 2020 so far have intensified stations’ need for growth, encouragement, inspiration, and ideas.
That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the PMDMC 2020 Summer Series: a collection of online events designed to explore and elevate public media revenue strategies to meet this moment and connect with one another to shape the future of our industry.
The series will include groundbreaking national conversations open to all, including a kick-off keynote with NPR’s Noel King and Shereen Marisol Meraji and a keynote discussion on whiteness in public media with Minal Bopaiah, a diversity, equity, and inclusion strategist. In addition to these keynotes, the series will feature more than a dozen in-depth sessions for members of Greater Public that focus on specific areas of fundraising, marketing, and audience development.
